Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. (April 27, 2013) – After not taking advantage of runners in scoring position, the Sewanee softball team was eliminated from the 2013 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament Saturday after league foe Hendrix topped the Tigers, 8-0.
The Tigers pounded out six hits and stranded seven base runners in the loss to the Warriors.
Sarah Fleming, Sarah Anne Hamilton, Sara Burklin, Michelle Thibodeaux, Sarah Walker and Brigid Lanigan all had one hit for Sewanee.
Cooper Killen suffered the loss in the circle for the Tigers.
With the loss, Sewanee completes the season with a 5-30 record.
