Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 27, 2013) – A .352 attack percentage helped Southern Athletic Association (SAA) foe Hendrix to a 3-0 victory over the Sewanee volleyball team, Sunday, inside Grove Gymnasium.
The loss dropped Sewanee to 13-12 overall and 4-10 in SAA play.
Hendrix swept all three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-19.
The Warriors were led by Katie Burchfield, who hit .484 and finished with a team-high 15 kills.
Additionally, M.C. Rogers finished with 12 kills for Hendrix, to go along with two blocks.
The Tigers were led by Jamie Sue Wilson. The junior outside hitter paced the offense with a match-high 19 kills and a strong .410 attack percentage. Wilson also capped off her double-double with 13 digs and two assists.
Additionally, Kayla Sewell pitched in 13 digs while Walker Buxton added a team-high 18 assists.
Sewanee will close out its regular season November 3rd against Huntingdon. That match is scheduled to be the final home contest of the 2013 season.
