Box Score ATLANTA (Sept. 29, 2012) – The Sewanee men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Southern Athletic Association (SAA) foe Oglethorpe, Saturday, at Salamone Field.
The Stormy Petrels added both goals off corner kicks. Oglethorpe scored first when Nick Papanikolopulos scored in the 11th minute. Later on, Jakub Madej converted a pass from Ellis Curry in the 53rd minute.
Overall, Sewanee took 11 shots and three corners. Individually, Ford Rushton and Ford Emerson led the Tigers with two shot attempts.
After its brief one-match road trip, the Tigers return to action against Birmingham-Southern October 5th. That match is schedule to start at 5:00 p.m., at Puett Field.
