Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 21, 2012) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) member Hendrix College held on for a 3-1 victory over the Sewanee men's soccer team, Sunday.
With the loss, Sewanee fell to 4-10-2 overall and 1-3-2 in SAA action.
Dylan Reed got Hendrix on the board first, when the forward tapped in a cross from Will Dunaway.
Perdo Sagone and Connor Silvestri then pushed the Warriors' lead to 3-0 when Hendrix scored two goals midway through the second half.
Sewanee eventually got on the board, when senior forward Samuel Edoung-Biyo scored his team-leading sixth goal off a pass from freshman Gervais Baker.
Despite having zero corner kicks, Sewanee outshot Hendrix 19-15.
Individually, Nate Owens and Edoung-Biyo led the Tigers with a season-high five shots.
Sewanee will briefly step outside conference play, when regional rival Covenant travels to The Domain for a 7:00 p.m., match Wednesday at Puett Field.
