Tigers Close Out Season with Doubleheader Loss to Rhodes

SEWANEE, Tenn. 4/17/11 - The Sewanee Tigers wrapped up the 2011 season today by dropping both games of an SCAC doubleheader to the Rhodes Lynx by scores of 24-1 and 18-0.

The Tigers end the season at 4-16 overall and 0-14 in conference play.

Michelle Thibodeaux was the losing pitcher in both of the today's games.

In the first game the Tigers were led at the plate by Dana Middleton, Erin Polena, Alex Ginsburg, Flo Churchwell and Claire Ellliott with one hit each.

Polena, Thibodeaux and Kali Hutson all turned in a 1-for-2 effort in the second game.
