The Sewanee Tigers kick off the 2010 football season today as they face the Quakers of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. The Tigers will take the field at 1:30 p.m. EST and the game will be broadcast live at hometownsportsindiana.com. Fans in Indiana will be able to view a tape-delayed version of the game on Comcast Channel 81. Live in-game statistics will be available through Earlham's website at www.earlham.edu.
The Tigers are led by Head Coach Robert Black, C'89, and are looking to come back from an 0-9 showing in 2009. Three-time All-SCAC selection
Chalankis Brown will be looked upon to lead a young team that features only five seniors. Earlham and Head Coach Gerry Keesling are coming off a 5-5 season in '09 and entering their first season as members of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
