LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Sewanee men's tennis team earned fifth place in the league Sunday at the SCAC Championships with a 7-2 win over Millsaps College. The Tigers finish the season at 13-12.
Jay Hill (Greenville, S.C., Southside) and
Levi Joy (Weatherford, Tex., Brock)picked up a win at \#2 doubles, while
Will Holloway (Augusta, Ga., Lakeside) and
MItchell Henry (Wellesley, Mass., Wellesley) won at 3 doubles for the 2-1 edge going into singles. Sewanee finished strong, winning five of six singles matches for the five-point win. Hill,
Philip Kuntz (Atlanta, Ga., Dunwoody),
Anthony Lioce (Huntsville, Ala., Randolph School), Holloway and Joy won singles matches for the Tigers.
