CONWAY, Ark. -- Hendrix got up 2-0 in the first half over Sewanee Friday night with a pair of Thomas Robins penalty kick goals and added an insurance goal in the second period to get the 3-0 men's soccer win.
Hendrix outshot Sewanee 12-10 and took two corner kicks compared to five for Sewanee.
Chris Grover (Collierville, Tenn., St. George's) played in goal for Sewanee and allowed three goals with six saves. Adam Legg had five saves in goal for the Warriors.
Sewanee is now at .500 at 7-7 and is 3-3 in the SCAC. Hendrix is 8-5-1 and 3-1-1 in the SCAC. Sewanee will play at Rhodes on Sunday.
