Junior (2010): Was named to the All-SCACSecond-Team… led the team in game minutes with 1,406…played in all 18 games… tied as assists team leader withfive, including game-winners against Berry and Hendrix.

Sophomore (2009): Played in 16 games, starting10… recorded 1,036 minutes on the field… registered14 shots, sixth on the team … three shots on goal. 

Freshman (2008): Totaled three goals in 17games played … two game winners, second highest on theteam… 23 shots on the season… one assist…started 14 games.

Club: Playd for the Lafreniere Soccer Club from2006-08… was a state champions in 2007… played forthe New Orleans Soccer Club from 2000-06… earned statechampionships in 2004 and 2005.

Prep Sports and Awards: Four-year varsitymember… state champions for three straight seasons, startingher freshman campaign… all-state selection as a senior,while being a all-district member as a junior and senior…also lettered in varsity volleyball and softball all fouryears… honor roll member all four years… was namedthe class secretary all four-years at Isidore Newman School…was one the Association for Retarded Citizens..

Off the Field: Order of Gownsman member as ajunior… was a member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Academic HonorRoll as a junior… went on the Sewanee women’s soccerteam’s trip to Costa Rica last summer…Theta Kappa Phisorority the last three years.

Personal: Layne Ashley Ezzell was born in NewOrleans, Louisiana… daughter of Chris and Jan Ezzell…one sister, Kiley 15… her mother, Jan, played basketball atthe University of New Orleans (1975-79)… majoring inpsychology with a anthropology minor.
