Biography

Pre-College

  • Meckstroth comes to the Mountain from the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, La., where he lettered under coach Matt Jacques.
  • During that time, Meckstroth led Isidore Newman to the 2009 Division III State Championships and the 2013 Division III State runner-up position.
  • Individually, Meckstroth was a team co-captain his junior and senior seasons while earning all-metro and all-district honors in 2011-12.
  • Additionally, Meckstroth played club soccer for the Chicago Fire Juniors of the Louisiana Gold under coach Richard Russell.
  • Off the pitch, Meckstroth was named a Rhodes Outstanding Athlete and a 2011 Rotary Youth Leadership Award winner.
