Zach Schultz enters his fifth year on the University of the South Football Staff, serving as the program's special teams coordinator and will work primarily with the defensive backs.

Returning for his second stint to the Domain in 2022, he spent the 2021 season with Knox College (Ill.) as the program's Defensive Coordinator.

Schultz spent the 2016 season as a Graduate Assistant Defensive Line Coach at St. Ambrose University (Iowa). Prior to that, he served as a football assistant at Illinois Wesleyan University working with the defensive line.

Schultz is a 2014 graduate of Illinois College earning a degree in Exercise Science, where he played four seasons on the Defensive Line for the Blueboys.

Additionally, he also earned a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology at Illinois State University in 2016.
