Jones enters his second season on the Sewanee football staff.

A multiple All-SAA selection, Jones was on of the top defensive backs in the league. 

In 2013, Jones earned his honor after he finished with 41 tackles, three interceptions, one sack, and five tackles for a loss. Despite battling injuries, Jones ranked fourth among all league players in INTs while his 32 solo tackles ranked 24th.

In 2012, Jones was a strong playmaker in the secondary. In his first season, Jones ranked 21^st in the SAA in total tackles (49). Along with a two interceptions the Cairo, Ga., native finished the season with six tackles for a loss, seven pass breakups, and one and a half sacks.
