Taylor Klesyk

Taylor Klesyk begins her second year as an assistant field hockey coach at Sewanee in 2026.

Sewanee finished 9-9 in 2025, the program's first season at .500 or better since 2018. The Tigers started the year 0-3 but then won six of their next eight games, reaching the semifinals of the conference tournament. Shepard Ramsey and Kennedy Harcourt earned First Team All-Conference honors and Catherine Crane was named to the Second Team. Eleven players garnered Academic All-Conference accolades.
 
The Hamden, Conn., native served as a graduate assistant for two years at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., running attacking drills with offenders, handling team travel arrangements, planning and running daily practices and managing substitutes during games. She also was a Teaching Fellow in the Physical Education and Health Education Department at Springfield.
 
Klesyk played collegiately at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass., earning First Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honors as a junior and senior and All-Region accolades as a senior. She was also a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
 
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Klesyk has worked as a camp director for Skyhawks Sports Academy and coached youth hockey with the Hamden Youth Hockey Association.
 
Klesyk earned her bachelor’s in Business Administration in Marketing from Western New England in May 2022 and received her master’s in Sport Management and Recreation from Springfield in May 2025.
