Haley Overstreet begins her first season as head coach of the Sewanee field hockey program in 2025 and her second year on staff with the Tigers. Overstreet served as an assistant coach in 2024 and was named head coach for the program March 13, 2025.
 
Sewanee posted one of the best seasons in recent memory in 2024, posting a 9-12 overall record, 2-3 in conference play, advancing to the semifinals of the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference Championships. Kennedy Harcourt was voted Newcomer of the Year while Shepard Ramsey earned First Team All-CFHC honors and Mimi Wilson was a Second Team selection. Twelve players earned Academic Honor Roll accolades as well.

Overstreet joined the Sewanee staff after working for one year as an assistant coach at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. She also served as an assistant at Ferrum College for three-plus years and spent one year as the Director of Championships for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference between her stints at DePauw and Ferrum.

Overstreet enters her seventh year in collegiate athletics, having served in various roles throughout her career, including Director of Compliance, Director of Championships, recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. 

She earned a bachelor's in Health and Human Performance, Exercise and Sports Studies from Ferrum in 2016 and her master's in Sports Management and Interscholastic Athletic Administration from West Virginia University in 2021. Overstreet was a three-sport athlete at Ferrum, competing in soccer, lacrosse and field hockey for the Panthers.
