Freshman (2009): Finishedwith a team-leading 13 points … earned her first-career goalwith the game-winner against Hendrix… had three game winningscores on the season … led the team in goals and shots ongoal … played in 14 games, starting six … earned herfirst-ever SCAC Offensive Player of the Week honor after for strongperformance against Hendrix and Rhodes… was honored as aAll-SCAC Third Team selection.

Personal:Bess Jackson Goodman was born in Greensboro, North Carolina…daughter of Blair and Laura Goodman… one sister, Carey (22),played soccer at Duke University (2007-10)…her father, Blair, played tennis atWestern Carolina University (1973-77)... her uncle, GordonKing, played football at Stanford (1974-78) and playedprofessionally for the New York Giants and New York Jets (1978-87)... her aunt, Nancy King, played volleyball at Illinois(1971-75)... her uncle, Neil Goodman, played soccer at WesternCarolina (1979-82)… majoring in International and GlobalStudies with a Business minor.
