Junior (2010): Was a All-SCAC Second-Team member lastseason… finished fifth in the conference in goals with eightgoals, including the game-winner against Maryville College…provided the offensive spark in victory over Birmingham-Southernwith two goals and two assists… tied as assists team leaderwith five.
Sophomore (2009): Led the team with three assists in 13games played… finished with nine points on theseason… started in four games… registered 17shots… one of three players to tally two points in fourdifferent games.
Freshman (2008): Played in 16 games, startingone… finished with seven points for the season …registered two goals, one of them a game-winner.
Club: Played for the Vermont ODP in2002-03.
Prep Sports and Awards: Boston Globe All-Starteam as a senior… earned a spot on the Connecticut All-Stateteam as a junior and senior… was a Western New England PrepSchool League All-Star team honoree as a junior and senior…Hotchkiss Captain’s Trophy for outstanding performance as asenior…lettered in soccer all four year … was the NewEngland Prep School Champion in 100m (sophomore), 200m (junior),4x100m (freshman-junior) and 4x400m (junior) track events…her success led her to the Founder’s League All-Star trackteam as a sophomore and junior… Founders League Champion inthe 100m (junior), 200m (junior), 4x100m (freshman-junior) and4x400m (sophomore and junior) events… was the school’sGirls' Track Award winner for outstanding performance as asenior… won the Penn Relays bronze medalist as asophomore… lettered in track all four years.
Off the Field: Member of the 4x100women’s relay team that broke a 16-year school record lastspring with a 50.56 time, finishing fifth in the SCAC Track andField Championships as a junior… went on Sewanee’swomen’s soccer trip to Costa Rica in the summer of2011… is a member of the Theta Kappa Phi sorority the lastthree years.
Why Sewanee: I fell in love with Sewanee when Ivisited because of the beautiful campus and I knew that I wanted togo to a small liberal arts school in the South where I couldsucceed in academics and athletics.
Personal: Faith Dana Spencer was born in SaltLake City, Utah… daughter of Lee and Alice Spencer …she has a brother Will 20... her father, Lee, played rugby at YaleUniversity… majoring in psychology.
