Biography

Sophomore – Chauvin closed out her sophomore campaign ninth in the SAA in scoring (12.3 ppg) ... she also ranked fifth in free-throw percentage (79.6 percent) and 15th in three-point field goal percentage (29.2 percent) ... additionally, Chauvin was eighth in the steals with 39 takeaways ... Chauvin finished with a career-high 28 points against Johnson University January 14 ... Overall, she scored in double figures 16 times.

Freshman – Started 24 out of 25 games and averaged 26.9 minutes per contest in 2012-13 …the second-year point guard also averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game … scored in double figures 11 times, including a career-high 20 points against Millsaps (2/8) … named to the SAA All-Academic Honor Roll team.

High School – coached by Jason Larkin … voted team captain and most valuable player senior year … recipient of Principal’s Award … member of National Honor Society.

Personal – daughter of John and Mary Chauvin … born December 28, 1993 … has three sisters, Jessica, Gina, and Nicole, and three brothers, Chris, Jeff, and Matt.
