Graham paces Tigers with 15th-place finish at Southern Showcase

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Eleanor Graham finished 15th as the Sewanee women's cross country team placed 14th on Friday morning at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Ala., hosted by Jacksonville State.

Graham ran a personal-best time of 19:27 in the 5K race at John Hunt Park. Mackenzie Smith finished next for the Tigers, recording a time of 21:36.7 to place 72nd. Katie Biagini ran a 22:09.6, while Abigail Armstrong recorded a 22:19.4 to finish 93rd and 98th, respectively. Page Wells rounded out Sewanee's top five in 123rd place with a time of 23:09.

The Tigers return to the Mountain to host the Mountain Goat Invitational on Oct. 3.
