Barbour and Cathey finish fourth and fifth as Tigers place third at Mountainside Stride

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Freshman Adeline Barbour and Olympia Cathey came in fourth and fifth individually for Sewanee as the Tigers came in third as a team at the Covenant Mountainside Stride on Saturday morning in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Barbour posted a time of 25:41.1, and Cathey ran a 25:54.8 in the 6K race. Mackenzie Smith came in 17th with a 27:37.8, and Abigail Armstrong followed in 18th with a 27:40.7. Katie Biagini rounded out the Tigers' scoring five in 21st place, running 27:52.3.

Sewanee finished behind Covenant and Berry. Sewanee will head to Jacksonville State to run at John Hunt Park in a 5K on September 18th.
