SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's tennis team defeated Occidental, 4-0, in Los Angeles, Calif., in its second match of spring break.

Lexi Barbee and Harper High got the match started with a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles, before Hanna Davis and Lucy Lee clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 victory at No. 2.

In singles play, High earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2, before Davis moved Sewanee within one point of the match victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Rika Ogiwara at No. 6. Ivy Wilson secured the win for the Tigers with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 3. Mariella Congeni, Lee, and Emma Foster had each won the first set of their respective matches when play was halted.

Sewanee will face No. 26 Vassar on Monday at MountainGate Country Club with a noon PT start.
