Women's Golf picked second in SAA Preseason Poll

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's golf team was picked second in the SAA Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Tigers received four first-place votes for 66 points, just three points behind Trinity, which tops the poll with five first-place votes and 69 points. 

Sewanee enters the 2026 spring season ranked No. 23rd nationally, behind No. 19-ranked Trinity. Natalie Catapano is ranked 17th, while Jane Stiltz also receives a top-100 ranking, coming in at 96th. 

Oglethorpe and Southwestern are tied for third with 51 points, and Centre rounds out the top five with 48 points. 

Voting was conducted among the SAA's nine head coaches. 

The 2026 SAA Women's Golf Championships is slated for April 23-26 at the Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.
