SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee men's cross country was selected seventh in the Southern Athletic Association Preseason Coaches' Poll released Tuesday by the league office.
Four of the Top 7 harriers from last season's SAA Championships return for the Tigers, including sophomore

th) are joined by nine freshmen on this year's roster.
The Tigers finished fifth in last year's conference meet.
Berry College edged Trinity University for the top spot in the coaches' poll, with Berry earning four first-place votes and 52 total points. Trinity picked up the other four first-place votes and 51 points, followed by Centre College in third with 45 points.
Oglethorpe University ranked fourth with 35 points, followed by Southwestern University (31), Rhodes College (30), Sewanee (22) and Millsaps College (14).
Sewanee begins the cross country season this Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn., running at the Arboretum Nature Center in a meet hosted by Covenant College.
