Carpenter/Despriet earn ITA All-American Honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Ansley Carpenter and Brooke Despriet earned All-American recognition Thursday afternoon as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its All-American teams for doubles. 

The Tigers are ranked 20th in the final ITA ranking of the year. 

Despriet earned her fourth All-American honors and reached a career high 90 doubles wins, tying Lindsey Liles for the second most wins in Sewanee history. 

Carpenter closed out her career with her second All-American honors. 

Despriet and Carpenter reached the Quarterfinals of the 2025 individual doubles championships, falling to the eventual National Champions, Olivia Soffer and Matia Christiani of Babson. The Tigers closed out their season with a 25-5 record.
