Jordan Theron and Quinn Wicklund qualify for NCAA Individual Draws

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Jordan Theron and Quinn Wicklund of Sewanee's men's tennis team earned an individual invitation to the NCAA Division III doubles championship, and Theron earned a singles invitation as well, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday evening. 

Theron and Wicklund are one of 16 doubles pairs selected and Theron is one of 32 players chosen to take part in the singles championship. The singles and doubles draws will be announced on May 23 with the with the tournament set to take place from May 23-26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College. 

Theron and Wicklund earned their third bid to the NCAA tournament as a doubles team. Returning to the tournament as runners-up the previous year, the duo is ranked 20th nationally. They are 19-5 on the season. 

In singles, Theron earned his fourth bid to the NCAA championship, his third as a Sewanee Tiger. Theron is ranked 19th nationally and fourth regionally. Theron is 19-2 on the season.
