Carpenter, Despriet conclude season in NCAA Doubles Quarterfinal

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Ansley Carpenter and Brooke Despriet battled the No. 3-seeded Babson doubles team in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Doubles Championships, coming up short.

Carpenter and Despriet fell to the 2024 National Champions, Olivia Soffer and Matia Cristiani 6-3, 6-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Bizantz Family Tennis Center. 

The Tigers concluded a standout season with a 25-5 record on the year. Despriet reached a career high of 90 wins in doubles, tying Lindsey Liles for the second most wins overall in Sewanee history.
