Theron named ITA Regional Senior Athlete of the Year

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Jordan Theron was named ITA Atlantic South Regional Player of the Year, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday afternoon.

Theron earned Senior Player of the Year honors after a 20-2 singles record and a 26-6 doubles record on the season. Theron was also named Southern Athletic Association Player of the Year for the second year in a row and earned First-Team All-Conference honors in doubles and singles.

Theron also earned a trip to the NCAA individual Tournament, in both singles and doubles, where the first round is set for May 23 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif.
