SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's tennis team closed out its last regular-season conference match against Centre, coming away with the sweep.

The Tigers did not drop a point in conference competition this season, defeating all conference opponents, 7-0.

The Tigers swept the doubles point, as Ansley Carpenter and Brooke Despriet did not drop a game, en route to a 6-0 win at No. 1. Sarah Livingston and Mariella Congeni secured the doubles point at No. 3 with a 6-1 win and Emma Caldwell and Ivy Wilson completed the sweep with a 6-2 win at No. 2.

Congeni continued the momentum from doubles into singles, for a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 from Livingston. Harper High clinched the match for the Tigers with a 6-4, 6-0 win.

Livingston continued the momentum from doubles into singles, not dropping a game, for a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2. Congeni followed closely after with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3, and Harper High clinched the match for the Tigers at No. 6, 6-4, 6-0. Wilson picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4, followed by Caldwell with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No.5. At No. 1, Carpenter fought back, after finding herself down in both sets, for a straight sets win over Grace Williams, 6-4, 7-5.

Sewanee will travel to North Little Rock, Ark. for the SAA Championships starting on April 25.
