SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day, earning a 7-0 sweep over Oglethorpe on Sunday morning.

The Tigers made quick work of doubles play, with Gil Weston and Talman Ramsey posting a 6-0 win on Court 2. Liam Selvido and Andre-Remi Jakobi followed suit at No. 3 with another 6-0 victory, before Jordan Theron and Quinn Wicklund completed the sweep with a 6-3 win at the top spot.

In singles, Theron set the tone with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Kellen Simmons at No. 1. Ramsey clinched the match at No. 3 with a 6-3, 6-1 decision, and Max Verellen added a 6-4, 6-2 win on Court 6. Weston delivered a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 4, while Wicklund outlasted his opponent at No. 2, 6-2, 7-6 (4). Selvido capped the day at No. 5, winning a three-setter—7-5, 4-6, 10-8.

The Tigers will wrap up the regular season with a doubleheader at Centre on April 19, facing Asbury and the host Colonels, before taking on No. 20 Kenyon on April 20.
