SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's tennis rolled to a 7-0 sweep against Berry on Saturday afternoon at the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center.

The Tigers quickly took the doubles point, surrendering just four total games across all three courts. Emma Caldwell and Ivy Wilson cruised to a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles, while Ansley Carpenter and Brooke Despriet earned a 6-2 victory at the top spot. Mariella Congeni and Sarah Livingston also posted a 6-2 win at No. 3 to complete the sweep.

Wilson stayed perfect on the day with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, followed by another shutout from Congeni at No. 4. Despriet clinched the match for the Tigers with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3.

At the top of the lineup, Carpenter took down Lauren Masteller 6-3, 6-4, while Caldwell added a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6. Livingston battled back after dropping the opening set at No. 2, rallying for a 5-7, 7-5, 10-4 comeback win in a third-set tiebreaker.

Sewanee will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, April 13, when the Tigers host Oglethorpe at 9 a.m.
