Jimmy Holmes placed eighth in the 400-meters for the Sewanee men Saturday at the SAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Danville, Ky.
Tallman placed sixth in the 800 in 2:00.76, fourth-best in program history, freshman
Chase Cavitch finished 12
th (2:07.19) and freshman
Henry Zanone was 14
th (2:17.89). Holmes finished eighth in the 400 in 53.14.
Tallman finished ninth in the mile run in 4:32.47 and freshman
Declan Oberlies placed 11
th in the mile (4:36.41) and 14
th in the 3000-meters in 9:19.84. Sophomore

Lane Gamble, junior
Sam Leonard and Holmes placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:32.30, second-best in school history.
Allen was seventh in the pole vault, clearing 13-feet, 6.25-inches, the third-best mark in school history.
