Swim and Dive wraps up day three of SAA Championships

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee swimming and diving teams continued their impressive performances on the third day of the 2025 SAA Championships.

The Sewanee women's team concluded the day in third place with 408.5 points, while the men's team held fourth place with 324.5 points.

Andrew Olsen highlighted the day with a first-place finish in the men's 200 freestyle, swimming a time of 1:39.50 to edge out the runner-up's 1:40.25.

Katie Walker added another top result for the Tigers, securing second place in the women's 3-meter diving with a score of 332.65.

Mary-Louise LeMieux earned silver in the women's 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:54.79, just behind the winning time of 1:53.05.

Ella Deitch secured a podium finish with a third-place result in the women's 400 IM, clocking in at 4:41.03.

Both Sewanee relay teams earned third-place finishes in the 400 medley relay. The women's team of Natalia Evans, Eleanor Bishop, Audrey Francell, and Ada Digby touched the wall at 4:01.87, while the men's team of Tyler Foster, Naeem Mangum, Josh Kim, and Olsen finished in 3:24.57.

In the women's 100 butterfly, Francell added to Sewanee's points with a seventh-place finish in 1:00.39.

The Tigers also earned key points in the 100 breaststroke, with Mangum finishing fifth for the men (56.89) and Bishop taking eighth for the women (1:08.78).

Tyler Foster secured fifth place in the men's 100 backstroke with a time of 51.84, while Evans placed sixth in the women's 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.07.

The conference championships wrap up on Saturday as the teams will compete in the final events of the conference championships in Danville, Ky.
