Elliott Allen won the pole vault, junior
Sam Leonard placed second in the high jump and freshman
Parker Tallman finished sixth in the 800-meters for Sewanee men's track and field Sunday at the KMS Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
Allen cleared 12-feet, 11.5-inches in the pole vault, winning by more than six inches over Tuskegee's Christian Goode with the fourth-best mark in school history. Leonard was second in the high jump with a mark of 6-2.75.

Stevie Mack finished 12

th, respectively, in the weight throw with marks of 36-0.75, 35-9.25 and 35-8 and the same trio placed 13

th, in the shot put with marks of 37-1.25, 35-3 and 31-8.
Tallman was sixth in the 800 in 2:03.20, ranking seventh in program history, while sophomore
Reed Siegler and freshman
Henry Zanone posted times of 2:11.68 and 2:25.88. Freshman
Declan Oberlies finished eighth in the 3000-meters in 9:27.40.
Junior Nana Addo collected a time of 25.31 in the 200-meters while sophomores
Jackson Knoll and
Jimmy Holmes as well as Siegler registered times of 53.54, 54.17 and 59.47, respectively, in the 400-meters. Knoll's mark of 53.54 ranks sixth in program annals.
Tallman placed 14
th in the mile run in 4:40.97, 10
th-best all-time, and freshman
Chase Cavitch posted a time of 4:57.33 while freshman
Jacob Heilpern, senior
Jenkins Darbney and Addo collected times of 7.47, 7.79 and 7.85, respectively, in the 60-meter prelims.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Gamble, Holmes, Knoll and Heilpern posted a time of 3:35.11, third-best all-time for the program.
Sewanee hosts the Tiger Indoor Open on February 1 at the fieldhouse in Fowler Center, the second of three indoor meets for the team this winter.
