Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Tigers defeat the Scotts on the road, 1-0

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Tyler Cozzie's goal led the Sewanee Tigers to a 1-0 victory over the Maryville Scots in a tightly contested men's soccer match on Wednesday night in Maryville, Tenn. 

Will Pucek and Noah Bjorkman were awarded assists as Bjorkman kept the ball alive on the end line and found Pucek who fed the ball to Cozzie through the defenders as he found the back of the net. 

The Tigers dominated early, outshooting Maryville 6-2 in the first half, though Maryville rallied with an 11-5 shot advantage in the second. Both goalkeepers made three saves, preserving a competitive contest until the final whistle.

Cozzie took four shots, as Will Pucek, Christopher Rives, Luke Manley, Issac Rasheed, Wells Durham, and Noah Bjorkman added one a piece. 

The Tigers return on the road this weekend as they travel to Lookout Mountain, Tenn. to face Covenant.
