SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's men's cross-country team is set to start the 2024 season in early September. This season, the Tigers will host their first meet on campus since the 2021 season.
The Tigers start their season in Chattanooga, Tenn. at the Morningside Stride meet hosted by Covenant on August 30. At the end of September, Sewanee will travel to Oakville, Ala. for the Firehaw Invitational hosted by the University of Tennessee Southern, before hosting The Mountain Goat Invitational. The Mountain Goat Invitational will be held in Sewanee on October 5 in a newly built cross-country course through the Sewanee Domain. The last regular season meet of the year is hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in East Ridge, Tenn.
The 2024 SAA cross country championship is set for November 2 at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tenn. hosted by Rhodes.
Sewanee's men's cross country team was slated to finished fifth. Berry was picked first with 32 points and three first place nods ahead of Centre with 29 points and two first place votes.
The Tigers bring in six freshman to add to their roster.
