SEWANEE, Tenn. – Nicole Nowak clinched the match for the Tigers as they defeated Oglethorpe in Atlanta, 9-0.

The Tigers dropped a combined three games in doubles, sweeping the doubles points. Nicole Nowak and Mariella Congeni did not concede a game, posting an 8-0 win at line one. At line two, CiCi Hardin and Lucy Ottley collected an 8-2 win over Brianna Ali and Taylor Glover. Finally, at line three, Bradley Tyer Jones and Lexi Barbee registered an 8-1 win.

Tyer Jones was the first singles match to finish, posting a 6-1, 6-0 win at line five. Nowak clinched for the Tigers at line two, with the same score, just dropping one game in the first set. Allison Bizub dropped just two games at line six for a 6-1, 6-1 result. Lexi Barbee collected Sewanee's seventh point at line four with a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Ottley, at three, dropped just three games for a 6-1, 6-2 win. At line one, Congeni won the first set 7-5, before picking up a 6-2 second set.

The Tigers have not conceded a conference match, as they move to 51-0 for the season against SAA opponents.

Sewanee returns on the road next weekend as they face Rhodes and Hendrix for their last regular season conference matches of the year.
