SEWANEE, Tenn. – The women's tennis team fell to No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer in their fifth match in six days in Malibu, Calif. On Wednesday afternoon.

Sewanee went into singles down 3-0, two of the Tiger's matches were close at lines two and three, but the Sage Hens bested the Tigers in both matches, 8-4.

Emma Caldwell had the closest match of the day at line four as she fell 6-4, 6-4 to Leticia Bazua Vazque. At line one, Katherine Petty lost to the No. 18 ranked player in the country, Angie Zhou.

Sewanee competes in their last match of spring break tomorrow against No. 13 Babson College at 11 a.m. PT at Pepperdine University for their eighth nationally ranked opponent this month.
