SEWANEE, Tenn. – Senior guard, Russ Marr was chosen to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week for his efforts during the week of November 18-24.
Marr tallied a 50-point game, matching his career-best, sending the Tigers past McMurry on Saturday. Marr shot an impressive 64% from beyond the arc (7-of-11) and 65% from the field overall (15-of-23) in just 28 minutes of action. He also contributed two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the game.
Earlier in the week, he delivered 20 points, four rebounds, four steals, four assists, and a block against Piedmont, which he followed with an 18-point showing against LeTourneau.
Marr is averaging 25.4 points per game to start the season.
The honor comes after Marr was named SAA Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon. This is Marr's second career selection to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week.
