Despriet/Carpenter fall in Semifinals of ITA Cup

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Ansley Carpenter and Brooke Despriet fell in the semifinals of the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center in Mount Berry, Ga.

Carpenter and Despriet faced Caitlin Bui and Eleanor Archer of Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday afternoon, as the Tigers fell in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.

The Tigers are slated to play out the 3-4 playoff against Ella Brissett and Alisha Chulani of Claremont-Mudd-Scrips.
