The Tiger offense was led by an impressive performance by freshman outside hitter Jacqueline Weller, as she started her collegiate career with force. She collected 26 kills and 17 digs and posted her first career double-double against Maryville with 16 kills and 12 digs. Senior Lauren Burkhardt played an instrumental part in Sewanee's win as well, posting 21 kills and 11 digs.

Game One: Sewanee 3, Brevard 0

Sewanee dominated the first set of their regular season never trailing their opponent. The second set was a slower start for the Tigers as they came from behind to take the lead at 11 all and kept the lead for the rest of the set. Sewanee was able to get back in their groove as they started the third set with a 5-0 lead and never trailed Brevard to capture the sweep.

Game Two: Sewanee 3, Maryville 1

Game two opened up with much more of the same as game one, the Tigers never trailed the Scots to take the first set. The second set was much more back and forth as the lead changed four times but the Tigers were able to pull out a tight set off a block by Sewanee junior Olivia Jones and senior Ashley. The Tigers fell short in the third set but came back to win in the fourth set off a kill by Jones to notch their second victory of the day.
