Track and Field Participates at Centre Invitational

DANVILLE, Ky. - The University of the South track and field teams got a preview of the facilities of the 2023 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships with a trip to Centre College for the program's 55th annual Invitational on Saturday.

WOMEN TOP PERFORMERS
-Sam Ude (20:57.18) ran her first 5K of the spring, while Emma Grace Hendrickson (44:26.60) competed in her first 10K of 2023. 

MEN TOP PERFORMERS
-Sam Leonard cleared 1.90 meters in the high jump on his first attempt at the height to take fourth place. 

-Alex Coley improved his season-best in the 5K to 16:27.15 on Saturday. 

-John Wilson also had a new personal best in the javelin with a 30.99-meter throw.
