Will Hawgood, a Sophomore on the University of the South's Men's Soccer team was named SAA Offensive Player of the Week after his standout performances over the first two games of the season, which led to a pair of wins for the Tigers.
The Sophomore Midfielder from Cincinnati scored in a 3-0 Sewanee win against Maryville, and in a 2-0 victory over Piedmont. Both goals ended up being the game winning goals.
Hawgood and the Tigers travel to Lexington, VA this coming weekend to take on #3 Washington and Lee in a marquee road match for the Tigers. Kickoff is set for 5PM ET/ 4PM CT.
