HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Battling Bishops got out to a 4-0 lead thanks to back-to-back goals by Allie Crawford.
OWU, who took 44 shots on the day, posted a 6-0 lead at the half and 7-0 after 45 minutes.
-The defense was stifling for the Battling Bishops, as the did not give the Tigers the opportunity to take a shot.
-Ohio Wesleyan is receiving votes in the preseason coaches poll administered by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), and was picked to win the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament in 2022.
