TALLULAH FALLS, Ga. - The University of the South swimming and diving teams saw eight athletes win individual events on Satruday against Piedmont University. The women's team, who saw six athletes secure top spots, posted a 166-96 result, while the men fell to the Lions, 181-77.

MEN'S TOP PERFORMERS

George Mabry won the 50-yard backstroke (25.43), 100-yard butterfly (54.35) and the 100-yard backstroke (56.92).

Daniel Shrader recorded a 1:57.39 in the 200 freestyle to earn gold. The senior also picked up a second place finish of 23.20 seconds in the 50 free and 25.55 seconds in the 50 fly for third.
WOMEN'S TOP PERFORMERS

Mary-Louise LeMieux won three events on Saturday. The sophomore won gold in the 1,000 freestyle (11:24.73), 100 freestyle (56.01) and the 100 individual medley (1:06.02).

Aurelia Willett captured two wins in the 50 back (29.91) and the 500 freestyle (5:40.95). Additionally, she finished second behind teammate LeMieux in the 100 IM (1:06.53).

Maddy DuBois took care of two events on Saturday, winning both the 50 fly (28.27) and the 100 fly (1:04.26).

Sarah Mehany (2:10.18) was the winner in the 200 free.

Natalia Evans won and
Audrey Francell collected victories in their first collegiate meet. Evans won the 100 backstroke (1:06.65, while Francell was the top swimmer in the 50 free (25.77).
-The quartet of Francell,
Dottie Ferreira,
Riley Carswell and LeMieux breezed past the competition in the 200 free relay. With a winning time of 1:47.58, the relay team finished almost five seconds ahead of Piedmont's top relay squad.
-In the 200 medley relay, Willett, Mehany, DuBois and Francell posted an under two-minute finish to win the event (1:58.24).
