Sewanee, Tenn: On Saturday, September 17th, the University of the South Men's Soccer team defeated Belhaven in front of a loud and packed crowd.
Tyler Cozzie found the back of the net twice, as the Tigers took home a victory 2-0.
INSIDE THE MATCH UP:
Sewanee (4-1-0) 2, Belhaven (2-2-3) 0.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A physical, back and forth first half led to both teams being scoreless at the break.
- Sewanee took six shots in thr first half.
- Three minutes into the second half,
Tyler Cozzie found the back of the net off of a pass from
David Edge.

JP Furman continued his strong season, finishing with two saves and posting his fourth shutout of the game.
- With less than 15 minutes left in the game, Cozzie once again finished a pass from Edge to double the Sewanee lead.
KEY SEWANEE STATISTICS:
- Cozzie finished with two goals.

- Sewanee out shot Belhaven 21-5, inlcuding 15 in the second half.
