Track and Field Overcomes Chilly Conditions in Kentucky

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The University of the South participated in the University of the Cumberlands Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

WOMEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Brianna Fee scored in the 800 meters, clocking in a 2:32.00 for a seventh place finish. 

In her first 1,500 meters of the campaign, Hannah Latimer finished in eighth place with a 5:56.68, while Sarah Gehres set a new personal best of 21:15.24 in the 5K. 

-Lexi Vanwinkle was the only athlete to clear the pole vault. The senior passed 2.80 meters on Saturday. 

MEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-In the 5,000 meters, Christian Shushok set a personal and a team best time of 17:15.08.
