ATLANTA - Announced on Wednesday afternoon by the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), doubles partners
Emma Smith and
Nicole Nowak won the SAA Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week award.
Against Birmingham-Southern, the duo knocked off the Panthers' top team in Maddi Stewart and Phoebe Shapard, 8-1.
The duo is currently 6-3 on the campaign.
This marks the fifth straight week the University of the South has been mentioned on the league's weekly awards for women's tennis.
Sewanee will return to the courts on Saturday at Rhodes College.
