MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The No. 33 University of the South men's tennis team won its 10th straight match on Saturday in the semifinals of the 2022 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Men's Tennis Tournament with a 5-1 victory over Birmingham-Southern College from the Adams Tennis Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee won two of three doubles matches.

Liam Baer improved to 5-2 on the year with the win at the No. 2 that went to an 11-9 tiebreak.
-In singles,
Quinn Wicklund (12-8) went to a third set with Elijah Ingleson, but the freshman prevailed with a 6-2 win in the deciding set to win the No. 3 flight.

Jax Harbour (9-3) and
Jackson Davis (8-7) also picked up wins in singles.
-Sewanee heads to Sunday's championship match for the eighth time. Winners of seven SAA Regular Season and Tournament Championships, the Tigers are 23-0 in tournament matches.
