-In the seventh, after Carter Huffman led off the inning with a triple, while Jack Ahlum was pinch hitting, Huffman scored on a wild pitch to give the Purple Tigers the 3-0 edge.

-Rhodes would tie the game in the bottom half of the inning with back-to-back extra base hits.

-Sewanee would have runners at first and second with one out in the eighth, but back-to-back strikeouts ended the Tiger threat.

HOW IT HAPPENED, GAME 2

-Carter Huffman brought Alden Wright home with a base knock up the middle to give the good guys the 2-0 advantage.

-Rhodes did tack on a run in the bottom of the third thanks to a leadoff walk, but Mike Lewishall got the run back for Sewanee in the fourth on a base hit to score Luke Short

-In the bottom of the fourth, the Lynx, once again, took advantage of a leadoff free pass, as three straight players reached base and two runs scored on the play to tie the game at three runs apiece.

-In the sixth, Sewanee took advantage of the leadoff free pass of their own, as Wade Sansone came across the plate on Lewishall's base knock.

-For Rhodes in the bottom of the seventh, the Lynx broke the Tigers' hearts again, as John McNair hit a walk-off, two run home run to clinch the series.
