BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of the South men's lacrosse team dropped a 17-7 decision to Birmingham-Southern College in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest, Friday evening from General Krulak Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The teams traded goals in the early goings, as
Luke Valentine evened the game at 3-3 with his second goal of the quarter thanks to a rebound ground ball and assist by
Ashton Anton.
-BSC came out strong from the opening face off of the second stanza as they outscored Sewanee, 6-1, in the period. The Panthers held the Tigers to seven shots as well.
-The home team would eventually put the game out of reach with a 12-5 lead after three quarters of play.
