HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers were unable to prevail a strong start by the Eagles. Asbury posted an 8-of-18 performance from the floor with 26 points in the opening quarter despite Sewanee out-rebounding the home team, 11-8, and 5-3 on offensive rebounds.
-Sewanee did out-score Asbury in the second and third stanzas and got the deficit to as low as 12 points during those two periods.

Kayla Antoine posted her fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 boards. From the field, Antoine shot 8-of-16 from the floor and added two steals and dimes each.

Olivia Falvey recorded her second career double-double with 17 points and a career-best 11 boards.

Camryn Broussard posted three triples for nine points, while
Faith Humphrey matched a career-best in rebounds with 10 and added a personal-best five dimes.

-Trinity Shearer led the Eagles with 14 points, while Haleigh Releford, Abigail Harris and Emma Strunk each scored 11.
UP NEXT
Sewanee will next turn its attention to final exams over the next week. The Tigers will return to the hardwood one final time in the 2022 calendar year on Saturday, Dec. 17 when they host Bob Jones. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. inside Juhan Gymnasium.
